Whenever someone asks me which laptop I have bought, I tell them Samsung and can see their faces amazed. Some are even not aware that Samsung even has a laptop range. Other thinks I am a fool.

The specifications do not mention the battery life which is staggering six hours because of NVIDIA Optimus technology. I am not boasting this is true. It really gives six hours of battery life. Other laptops come with battery life of three hours or less.

The laptop takes three second to start. So you are always ready to go.

The best thing about this laptop is not its specifications rather its design. It is very sleek, very stylish and attractive. It has a curvilinear body and very clean design. so much of virtual life that it sucks now. So many friends..but no one to talk to..waiting for new updates to come is kind of sick and i dont want to be more sick..i want to come out of this virtual lyf but am not able to..just because of the fear of loosing so many connections..i m still stuck to this facebook..actually i like social media/internet but i cant handle so much fake things..it seems like a race here..trying to make ur profile better..getting more hits and likes..this is not life..life suck sometime because u get ur priorities wrong..and dude facebook cant be my priority..its simply not letting me concentrate on better and real things life has to offer..there cant be anything more fake than fb in this world..people should move to sth where more meaningful conversation is happening..

the only thing that can be treasured long is love/friendship/relationships. and we are adamant on investing less time on these and more on our virtual life. that's why this generation sucks..what happens that we realize everything after we are fucked up..and some people love getting fucked up..they want to achieve the consummate skill in getting fucked up..

i am not all against facebook. i like it because sometimes you can get to watch/read videos/stuff that are good..really can hav good time..but its turning fast into something like idiot box. You spend a lot of tym and get so little useful out of it..and also the social nerd it makes you..and what's total gross is that people are being judged here..i bet no one is like what their fb page tells you..

so what's the solution to this problem..get off and leave..call that special someone and tell how u love him/her..

microsoft..that is another solution i can think off..microsoft guys should come up with some another social network which suck less..where again for some days we will just have real friends added and real conversation happening..and as everyone flocks to that ..again leave that network..dont tell me g+..its stale and we need something fresh..

Disclaimer: I am no Shahrukh fan. Even i am of opinion that, except Swades,Chak De and Don, his movies has always been dissapointment and are meant for no brainer and no logic watch(similar to Ekta Kapoor Soap Operas).

It may be my good moood or the diwali celebrations that i liked the movie Ra One. I totally enjoyed the first half and sailed through the second half without much boredom. It was not hollywood kind but not even the typical bollywood style. It was different and that's why i liked the movie. It was new. Ya some of Shahrukh Khan's usual flamboyance still bored me but it was delight to watch the visual effects. Considering our history of making Bodyguard ,Dabangg etc highest grossing movies, this deserves to be seen once.

I feel all the naysayers are biased. The kind of reviews recieved so far(not even one by yahoo and less than 2 by all) insist on avoiding this movie but you will miss this new stuff from bollywood. Actually I am feeling guilty for liking it even more guilty for recommending it. But again i can't help liking it.

Kareena looks fabulous and i enjoyed watching her in all the songs. SRK is funny and Sanjay Dutt and priyanka part is good. Iski lee,uski lee and sabki lee is still making me smile. The movie isn't a disaster and can be seen once for more than one reasons.

You know what's strange with the phone. That it rings, mostly at the wrong times. I find my phone interrupting me whenever I am engrossed in anything. Whenever you are relaxed, ruminating, lost in your world, enjoying the present moment, you want to hold the moment because it is not in abundance, the stupid phone will ring. It will try to bring you back to reality. Back to the daily nitty-gritty. What's with phone ringing. Someone is expecting you to talk to him/her and you feel guilty to reject the call. You feel guilty because you think you are not there when they need you. It doesn't always feel good to break the monotony of the silence. Another irony occurs when you are lonely. The songs are not enough to keep you serene. Something want to come out. You want to share which you have hold on to you since long time. You dial the victims number. The person picking the phone is no antaryami and he is having a nap. You don't want to wake him up with your nonsense and you cut the call. You dial another number and find that the other friend is partying currently. You don't want to bring that fella to your moronic world. You again hang up. You call again and you hang up again. Inspite of calming you, the stupid phone inadvertently increases your anxiety. You browse your phonebook and find no more person with whom you can share your emotions. So you switch to another song.

I don't really understand whether it is irony of phone or life. But it happens again and again. One thing that I have concluded is if you want to stop loving a particular song or tone, make it your ringtone.

Slowly you realize that you have fallen in love wid the city..all the things you hated..all the adversaries met..you ignore the problems and start seeing the brighter side..nature plays an important role here..this city is too green and i like the speed it has..Speed..may be all want to run away ignoring their unsettling mind..ignoring all the noise buzzing in their head..living as you have never lived..living as each day is your first and last day..and at the end of the day you feel tired..you know what's good abt being tired..it keeps the thoughts away..no thoughts no pain..so each day passes as you are in loop..slowly the city becomes a part of your life or you become a part of the city..the city which will never leave you alone even if everyone has ..that is relentless and unforgiving Mumbai..

Dhobi Ghat is about life. The mere significance of it is its insignificance. This movie is not based on any story, because stories have beginings and endings. Beginings that can awe you and endings that can inspire you. But Dhobi Ghat doesn't try to do any of these. Its about life which is not a story or a movie, which is as insignificant as anything. Life doesn't move at a pace a story does .Life is where results does not come when you want and where losses are irreversible. Tell me have you ever felt you have achieved everything and you have come to the end of all you wanted to do. You always feel incomplete irrespective of whatever stage of life you are. That is also with the film. You feel incomplete as if your questions have not been answered. You never feel complete in life and so in movie.

If you are looking for entertainment and quick return of bucks you have put for ticket, this movie may not be for you. But some of its scene will definitely linger with you for some time. Like the one where Munna(Prateik) on his job of killing rats finds her beloved(Shayi) looking at him and run away.(I had no clue earlier that even rat killing could be a job) Another when Munna hand over the address of Arun to shayi. The movie has beautiful moments captured in parts. Even though each part doesn't combine to become a significant story. But it will make you thoughtful and slight grim without being preachy.

Scribbly is a nice way to take notes for future reference and mail it to yourself if you want.  It has helped me remember To Dos, deadlines etc.  It’s an application available for free download at Adobe AIR Marketplace.  You can download it from here. Try it once.

How it has helped me:

What my work involves is to deal with customers and vendors. Always at hand I have good number of things to do. These are generally small tasks like mailing someone, updating some spreadsheets, calling someone at say 2 PM etc. Out of this nitty-gritty I used to forget many small tasks. I was taking down daily Things to Do in Notepad. But things jotted down in a Notepad need to be saved if you want it for future reference. Notepad was not the ideal solution. What I was looking was just simple application to track my daily things to do. I stumbled upon Scribbly after two day of its release. What I like about it most is lack of features in it. It is as simple as it can be. Now when I have to take some notes, I click the icon on system tray, scribble the notes, press the ESC key and it’s done. No need to save it and close it. Click the icon once again in the system tray if you want to refer to your jotted things. The date and time can also be added just with a click. If you want to mail the notes to yourself click the message icon (Before that you will have to add your id to its settings and save it).  

This application has helped me be more organized. As I add the date and time every morning before taking notes, I can easily track what work was left from my previous day. One suggestion for the developer of Scribbly, please do not add too many features and make it complicated. Happy Scribbling.
